Systema Stick Work

I am currently recovering from a knee injury sustained in sparring in a Brazilian Jiujitsu lesson and am there looking at keeping the pace in the class down to manageable speeds for my injury.

Though injured it is far from doom and gloom.  My knee will recover and in the meantime it gives me a chance to work through some new ideas in slow paced drills.

In this drill we are exploring the use of a stick to act as an angled plane and lever.  Remember this is quite a complicated thing to do in the early stages as you are having to operate your own body, as well as a stick and your partner's body too.
