Systema Soft Work - Moving The Point Of Support
At Combat Lab we are always researching and exploring new ideas and ways of using our Systema.
In this video that followed on from the Pillar and Drunkard drill we are looking at the idea of moving the point of support an opponent creates when they take hold of you and how this work directly relates to having correct form or as we have recently started to refer to it ‘The Pillar’.
It is not sufficient to move the point of support as it has to relate to the principles of structure breaking such as the triangle or three planes to effect a collapse in our partners structure.
The point of support in fact creates the first principle of structure breaking called Hard Clutch. For more information on that and other principles check out the structure breaking manual and the video downloads on that topic.
